Story Guidelines
What the Music Meant to Me is a publication of fiction and non-fiction stories ranging from two to ten pages per story (750 words to 20,000 words). The stories will be unified via a common denominator. That denominator is that each story will be titled by a song lyric. The theme of each story will be based on the song lyric however the lyric will not be used in the individual stories.
For example, a story is titled, "Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum and we wound up drinking all night," the story itself is about a man who ran into an old college buddy and an adventurous night they have together.
Stories should be no shorter than two pages and no longer than ten pages.
